Jeannette Chong-Aruldoss
Jeannette Chong-Aruldoss is a practising lawyer who earned her law degree in the United Kingdom. She also holds a Masters Degree in Corporate & Commercial Law from the London School of Economics. Called to the Singapore Bar in 1989, Jeannette is currently practising at Robert Wang & Woo LLP. Troubled by the lack of political diversity in Singapore, Jeannette entered politics in 2009. She challenged the incumbent at Mountbatten SMC twice, at the 2011 and 2015 General Elections. Although she did not win a seat in Parliament, her electoral experiences have given her invaluable insights into Singapore's political system. On the personal front, Jeannette is happily married, mother of four grown up children and grandmother of one singular sensation.
